Margaret Navarro-Jones is a Human Resources professional, with 20 years’ experience in a variety of international HR roles. Margaret’s freelance work has included delivery of customized performance management workshops for the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg, soft-skills workshops in the private and not-for-profit sectors, career counseling for individual clients and employability workshops for MBA students of HEC Paris. Since moving to Paris, Margaret has worked with INSEAD to design a management development programme for the senior executives of Bureau Veritas, created a competency framework for the company’s 1000 auditors worldwide, and established links with the Copernic programme to recruit graduates. Margaret was also Project Manager for the OECD’s leadership development programme.
During her time with Ernst & Young in the former Soviet Union, Margaret was responsible for creating the HR function, recruiting their professional and support staff, and managing their graduate recruitment programme. At Cadbury Russia, Margaret recruited for the sales team, Head Office functions and their Greenfield manufacturing site. She also spearheaded their professional development programme, and developed a process for competency-based Personal Development Plans and Talent Management. During this time, Margaret designed and delivered workshops on a range of soft-skills for first-line supervisors and managers, in both Russian and English.
Margaret holds an MSc in Human Resources Development and Performance Management from the University of Leicester. She has a BA Honours degree in French and Russian from the University of Birmingham, a certification in career counseling, recognized by Kingston University, and is a member of the UK Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
